国際協力機構（JICA）人間開発部 国際協力専門員（保健財政・保健システム）
【略歴】
開発途上国における「ユニバーサル・ヘルス・カバレッジ（UHC）」（すべての人が負担可能な費用で質の高い保健医療サービスが受けられること）の達成支援にかかる実践と研究に20年間従事。2015年より国際協力機構（JICA）国際協力専門員として、アジア、アフリカ、ラテンアメリカにおけるUHCに関する政府開発援助（ODA）の事業形成や効果研究を実施中。2012年から2015年にかけ、フィリピンの山岳地帯における妊産婦ケア提供体制強化と健康保険加入促進を組み合わせた技術協力プロジェクトにチーフアドバイザーとして従事。フィリピン経済開発庁優良ODA事業賞（2014年）およびJICA理事長賞（2017年）受賞。フィリピン国民健康保険制度の高額自己負担医療費抑制効果に関する研究により2012年に東京大学大学院より博士号（保健学）を、2004年にエール大学公衆衛生大学院より公衆衛生学修士号を取得。
