HIAS Health researchers, Dr. Ryota Nakamura (Associate Professor, Hitotsubashi Institute for Advanced Study), Dr. Ying Yao (HIAS Postdoctoral Researcher, Hitotsubashi Institute for Advanced Study), Dr. Shamima Akter (HIAS Postdoctoral Researcher, Hitotsubashi Institute for Advanced Study), Dr. Thomas Rouyard (HIAS Postdoctoral Researcher, Hitotsubashi Institute for Advanced Study) and Dr. Ataru Igarashi(Associate Professor, Yokohama City University, School of Medicine) participated in the 9th HTAsiaLink Annual Conference, which was held online from October 11 to 13, 2021.
 
The 9th Annual Conference, postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic last year, was held this year under the theme "Global Health Technology Assessment (HTA) Practices in Asia: Bridging True Evidence-to-the UHC Benefits Adjustments" attended by consortium members from all over the Asia-Pacific.
 
Dr. Nakamura served as a member of the International Organizing Committee, Dr. Yao and Dr. Akter as members of Scientific Advisory Committee, contributing to organizing the annual conference.
