Salary | Monthly Salary : about 318,000 ~ 513,000 Japanese yen(Salary will be determined based on experience) Transportation allowance will be paid in accordance with regulations of the university (Maximum 55,000 Japanese yen per month) |
Period of employment | From 1st October 2018 to 30th September 2020. The contract shall not be extended. (The start date is negotiable but it must be before April 1, 2019. The employment period shall be two years from the start date.) |

Qualifications (required skills, experiences etc.) | 1. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in a relevant subject area, or are expected to receive one within 6 months after their start date. 2. Skills and experience in conducting theoretical and empirical research in health policy 3. Skills to write up and publish research outcomes in top-class journals; skills to develop and write up competitive research proposals for external research funding 4. Ability to work as part of a team and also to work independently 5. It is desirable (but is not strictly required) that applicants have published their works in peer reviewed journals and/or have obtained external research funding |
Work days and hours | 8:30-17:15 (including 1 hour lunch break/ 7 hours and 45 min. actual hours per day.) 5 days a week (from Monday to Friday)/ in total 38 hours and 45 min. per week.) Work days and hours are negotiable, if necessary. |
Holidays | Saturday and Sunday, national holidays, new year holidays (Dec. 29-Jan.3), and other holidays designated by the president of the University Paid holiday will be given when 6 month has passed after employment. Other paid holidays; condolence leave Non-paid leave; maternal leave, sick/injured child care leave, care leave etc. |
