- If relocation is required as a result of being employed by Hitotsubashi University, a transfer allowance will be paid in accordance with the University's regulations for travel expenses.

Job description1. Research on issues related to health policy and health systems
2. Participation in HIAS-Health collaborative and/or commissioned research with national and international research institutions and/or government agencies (see the HIAS-Health website https://health-economics.hias.hit-u.ac.jp/english/ for examples of past and ongoing research projects)
3. Other work related to the activities of HIAS-Health
4. Delivering classes on Health Economics (including seminars)
5. Administrative duties, such as Entrance exam-related duties.
(Scope of change) All operations related to the management of the university
Required skills, experience, and qualificationsApplicants should have;
1. Ph.D. in a relevant academic field, such as health economics, health policy, or public health
2. The necessary skills and experience to undertake health economics and/or health policy related research, including skills in statistical analysis, policy analysis, implementation research, and synthesis of existing evidence
3. A record of publishing articles for peer-reviewed journals and obtaining competitive research funding
4. Strong communication skills and the ability to facilitate teamwork
5. Ability to competently deliver lectures in English.
6. Proficiency in either English or Japanese.
Workdays and hoursThe discretionary labor system is applied. The deemed working hours are 7 hours and 45 minutes per day and 38 hours and 45 minutes per week.
The discretionary labor system is a free-time system that considers the amount of work done to be specified by the agreement between workers and employers, regardless of the actual working hours. For more details, please refer to Article 38-3 in Labor Standards Act.
