On 2nd August 2018, HIAS Health held its 31st regular seminar by Dr. Ying Yao, HIAS Postdoctoral Researcher, Hitotsubashi Institute for Advanced Study, Hitotsubashi University.
The research reported this time aims to examine the effect of shrunken product choice on tobacco purchasing behavior, using a natural experiment approach. It provides timely and policy-relevant evidence for evaluating the impact of product bans on the smoking prevalence.
