The research project “The Impact Evaluation of Universal Health Coverage Project,” with Dr. Motohiro Sato, Director of HIAS Health, as the principal investigator, has been selected for the Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research (KAKENHI) for fiscal 2018.

Under this joint research, impact evaluation will be conducted on a technical cooperation project, “Project for Strengthening Capacity of Community Health Insurance System and Free Health Care Initiatives,” which assists Universal Health Coverage (UHC) in the Republic of Senegal, Africa.
